Perhaps it’s because we’ve nurtured and tended the soil for over a hundred years, or because of the North East Victoria’s unsurpassed natural beauty that our quality gourmet foods and cool climate wines made from Indigo Valley fruit, will take your breath away.

Given the diverse landscape and our distinct four seasons, the abundance and quality of our rural produce is of little surprise!

We have acres of rich farm land set within the surrounding hills and valleys. All our produce is fresh from the farm door or picked straight from green pastures.

You’ll be able to taste the love that is poured into our jams, olives, lettuce and wines.

Here in the hills you can sit back and unwind over your morning cappuccino, whilst breathing in the clear mountain air.

The Lavender Patch is one of Australia’s favourite lavender producers. With wonderful sprawling lavender beds that provide a visual and sensory delight when in season. The produce is as vast and varied as its setting; with traditional lavender soap and cosmetics through to lavender flavoured ice -cream.

Overlooking the Ben Valley, is the spectacular Iris Farm. In spring the hills are awash with colour and fragrance from the Dwarf, Median, Tall Bearded and Louisiana Irises. There are over 500 varieties on display. You are invited to visit during the bloom season in spring so be sure you take a few moments on your scenic drive to call in.

The Schmidt’s Strawberry Farm and Winery is set amid acres of strawberry fields, along the scenic drive route. For over 35 years the Schmidt family has made delicious wine from their fresh strawberries, using a traditional family method. There are also cellar door sales for more conventional wines at Park Wines. The winery was first established in 1982, with the planting of 15 acres of vines. The regional wines produced are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Riesling.

The charming Vienna Patisserie Chalet, is located close by and offers the finest Austrian Torts, Cakes and Strudels.

Kirby’s Flat Pottery is home to our award winning and internationally renowned Potter, John Dermer, who has earned an international reputation in designing and creating Porcelain, Terra Sigillata and Salt Glaze tableware fine pots.
